Eltham Redbacks are delighted to confirm that young defender Alessia Napolitano has extended her stay at the club for next year’s ascension to NPLW Victoria.
Napolitano instantly became a mainstay in her first season as a Redback in 2026, playing 19 league matches and starting 15 as a key part of the side’s VPLW title success.
Her energy and tenacity were constants throughout each of those appearances, covering enormous ground up and down the flanks and adding an offensive threat alongside her defensive nouse.
Continuing to build on her connection with Jonathan Barrientos, who is already locked in to return next year, Napolitano will be looking to make the leap into the top tier for the first time and continue her exciting development on the pitch.
Izzy Berks and Taylor Halabi join Napolitano in signing on at Eltham North Reserve, with plenty more announcements to come as the beginning of pre-season training draws ever closer.
