The Eltham Redbacks are pleased to welcome promising midfielder Stephanie Katiforis to the club ahead of the 2026 VPLW campaign.
Stephanie has been in the junior NPLW system since the age of 12, with experience at Heidelberg, Bulleen and Box Hill United.
A knee injury curtailed her involvement in senior football last season, but having fully recovered, Katiforis is raring to go for the new season.
“I’ve heard it’s a really good club culture here, and a competitive environment, which I thrive off,” she says.
“I definitely had to be patient and resilient, and I’ve come back from a fair few setbacks, which was hard.
“But I love the game. I coached for a while as well, which really helped me stay in it.
“Now I’m excited to be part of a team again and enjoy my football.”
Katiforis joins Taylor Halabi, Aleena Gutzsmit, Aimie Adcock, Claudia Dimasi and Alessia Napolitano among the new arrivals at The Web this season.
