Eltham Redbacks FC is pleased to confirm the signing of Liam O’Connell ahead of the 2026 season.
A seasoned defender with a strong reputation across Victorian football, O’Connell joins the Redbacks from Geelong SC, after spending the previous two campaigns at VPL1 level with Werribee City and Caroline Springs George Cross.
Reliable in the tackle and a tireless worker with the engine to overlap from fullback, O’Connell adds vital, battle-hardened experience to Alan Mulcahy’s squad as the Redbacks prepare to take on another new challenge.
