Eltham Redbacks FC are pleased to confirm the re-signing of Fletcher Caponecchia ahead of the 2026 season.
Caponecchia was a constant presence throughout the 2025 VPL Men 2 campaign, appearing in every single league match as the Redbacks finished second on the ladder in their first season at the level.
Now entering another season in red and black, Fletcher continues to provide reliability, physicality, and versatility across the defensive and midfield lines. His ability to step into multiple roles has made him a trusted option within the senior squad across several seasons.
Having been part of the club’s 2024 State League 1 South-East championship side and the successful transition into VPL2 football, Caponecchia remains an important piece of the group moving forward.
The club looks forward to seeing Fletcher continue his contribution in 2026.
