Eltham Redbacks are pleased to confirm that Senior Men’s Assistant Coaches Steven Pace and Alex Tseros will remain in the dugout for our 2026 campaign.

Pace is a bonafide legend of Victorian football, with 282 top-flight appearances to his name at Heidelberg United, Preston Lions, Hume City and Essendon Royals, as well as winning an A-League Championship with Melbourne Victory in 2009.

Pace joined the Redbacks coaching staff ahead of the 2023 State League One season, and has played an integral role in the successive promotions achieved by our senior men’s side.

Tseros is entering his second season of his second stint in the Redbacks dugout. Alex works hand-in-glove with our senior goalkeepers, and helped the Redbacks to one of the league’s best defensive records in 2025, with captain Abdulkerim Koc winning VPL2 Goalkeeper of the Year under his tutelage.

The club is delighted to have Steven and Alex remain part of Head Coach Alan Mulcahy’s brains’ trust, as we build towards an exciting debut campaign in VPL1.
