We caught up with Aaron Yates from Jellis Craig Northeast recently to chat about what makes this partnership tick and why supporting local sport matters.
It’s Personal, Not Just Business
For Aaron and his team, sponsoring clubs like ours isn’t about slapping a logo on a jersey and calling it a day. They’re a local business through and through, and they genuinely care about giving back to the people they work with every day.
“There’s always a connection,” Aaron told us. “Someone’s kid is playing at the club, or they used to play there themselves, or their cousins are involved. We’ve got staff members whose kids are at the clubs too, so it’s really our way of giving back to them.”
That’s what makes the difference. They’re not just sponsors – they’re part of our community. They’ve been there for our trivia nights, our jumper presentations, and everything in between.

The success we’ve had – our thriving junior NPL program, the new clubrooms, our senior team achievements – none of it happens without partners like Jellis Craig backing us.
